Who we help

Engineers and EPC

Trenchless is a narrow specialism inside a broad discipline. A strong pipeline group may design two crossings a year, and the failure modes are not intuitive from first principles.

How we sit alongside your team

As a specialist subconsultant to you, under your engagement with your client, or directly to the owner with your agreement. We do not compete for the wider engineering mandate — we have no pipeline design practice, no survey group and no environmental team, and we are not looking to acquire them.

Constructability review

Reading a crossing design the way the contractor will: can it be set up, drilled, reamed and pulled with the equipment that will realistically be available?

The pullback analysis

The segmented load check against the product's allowables, done properly and documented so it can sit in your design file.

The pressure envelope

The computed containment limit along the profile, and the sections where it governs the design rather than the geometry.

Geotechnical interpretation

Reading a factual report for trenchless implications, and saying what the investigation has not answered.

Specification support

Writing the trenchless sections of the tender so they specify outcomes and records rather than restating the contractor's method back at them.

Tender evaluation

Technical scoring of trenchless submissions — subject to our conflict rules, which we will apply before accepting.

We do not seal work outside our own competence, and where a deliverable needs a seal we say plainly in which province and by whom — or that it cannot be sealed and why. See how we work.
